Serum Cytokines and Chemokines

Serum cytokine/chemokine levels are quantified using the Luminex Protein Array System, a multiplexed, particle-based assay that simultaneously quantifies multiple analytes (up to 50 cytokines/chemokines/growth factors/signaling molecules) from a single sample. Cytokine/chemokine concentration is calculated by the software using a standard curve derived from serially diluted standards.

A Quantifiable Immune Response

Tissue slides from patients who underwent tumor resection will be used to measure the extent and density of immune cell infiltration (multiplex staining CD4/CD8/FoxP3/B-cells/CD68 etc.), memory T cells, and Th1/Th2 cell type infiltration in the tumor samples. Stained sections will be analyzed independently by pathologists and trained laboratory personnel.

Cellular Indexing of Transcriptomes and Epitopes (CITE-Seq)

This sequencing-based technology simultaneously quantifies cell surface protein and transcriptomic data within a single cell readout. Studying cells concurrently at transcriptomic and proteomic levels can offer unparalleled insights into disease states or responses to therapy.
